About us

Founder of Sportsjewelry.shop is author and former athlete Andra Laarhuis. She feels that her athletics pinnacle perhaps came when, along with her teammates, she set a record that stood for many years in what must be the most insignificant Dutch record in the books …the 4x200m indoors! Andra has been a sports journalist for numerous magazines and newspapers since 1989. In 2013 her first book appeared: 101 reasons not to do sports, but do it anyway. Recently she decided to take a step back from journalism to fully dedicate herself to Sports Jewelry.
